Lisa brings over 15 years experience in equity research and investment marketing to Viriathus. Prior to joining Viriathus, Lisa worked as an equity Analyst at Kemper Financial Services and at the Financial Relations Board in Chicago. Lisa is a published author of Ten Steps to Better Financial Reporting in The Handbook of Business Strategies. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Center for Speech and Language Disorders (CSLD), a non-profit providing services and support to families of children with autism. Lisa has BA from Kalamazoo College, Michigan and an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago.


Marco Rodriguez, CFA
Research Analyst

Marco Rodriguez is a corporate finance professional that brings over 10 years of experience in the securities industry. Mr. Rodriguez was previously a Vice President in the Corporate Finance Department at Roth Capital Partners. He focused on M&A advisory and private and public placements for companies primarily in the industries of gaming equipment, general technology, business services and consumer. Mr. Rodriguez was also a Senior Research Analyst with Roth Capital's Equity Research Group focusing on Technology Special Situations, Network Security and the Data Storage Industry. Prior to Roth Capital, Mr. Rodriguez worked as an Associate Portfolio manager and Analyst at a buy-side firm called The Keller Group. In one of his capacities, he worked as a research generalist covering the technology sector and mid-cap investments of the firm. Mr. Rodriguez is a CFA Charterholder and is a member of the CFA Institute. He received a BSBA in Finance from the American University in Washington, DC.


Ann Logue, CFA
Research Analyst

Ann Logue is a freelance writer and consulting analyst who is fascinated by business and technology. She is the author of "Hedge Funds for Dummies" (Wiley, 2006), "Day Trading for Dummies" (Wiley, 2007) and the forthcoming "Socially Responsible Investing for Dummies" (Wiley 2009, and has written for Alpha, Barron's, Newsweek Japan, and Business Week Chicago, among other publications. She is a lecturer in finance at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her current career follows 12 years of experience as an investment analyst. She holds a B.A. from Northwestern University, an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.


Chinh Le, CFA
Research Analyst

Mr. Le has experience providing growth capital to small and micro capitalization companies from Enable Capital Management, the most active financier of PIPEs (private investments in public equity) in 2007. His financial modeling and research contributed towards over $20 million in investments. Prior to joining Enable Capital, Mr. Le was a trader, and worked in operations for Merrill Lynch and Charles Schwab. Mr. Le holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has passed the Financial Risk Manager full exam, but is awaiting award of the designation. He earned a Master of Science degree in Financial Analysis from the University of San Francisco and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University, completing majors in Economics, as well as Earth and Environmental Science.


Ray Meadows, CFA
Research Analyst

Mr. Meadows is the Chief Investment Officer at Berkeley Investment Advisors, a registered investment advisor in San Francisco, California. Ray is a CPA, CFA, and an MBA. Mr. Meadows also has a Masters degree in economics and teaches CFA review courses. Ray began his career in auditing and tax and then pursued an academic career in the Ph.D. program at Berkeley. He learned the practical (and technical) aspects of the capital markets in the trenches as a quant reviewing market wide hedge fund trading at Citigroup in New York. With this superior grasp of the underlying workings of companies, economies, and markets, he has outperformed the S&P 500 by more than 200% over the last 11 years. Mr. Meadows has been involved in developing business plans and the capital raising process for several early stage companies since 1999; he understands what investors want to know about young companies and how to provide answers in a compelling way. Mr. Meadows has been writing on real estate and finance for 10 years; he has written articles for Risk Magazine, Investopedia.com and Wikinvest.com as well as privately distributed investment analysis and advice.
